After a thrilling first weekend, the PCS7 Europe Grand Finals are off to a great start. Here’s a quick rundown of what happened.

HOWL, surprisingly, had the most eliminations in a single battle, with three squad wipes and eighteen overall deaths. A great display it was not, but they did not win the Chicken Dinner. Likewise, in Match 15, ItzzChrizZ of ACEND rode into the zone in an enemy pickup and annihilated the unsuspecting HOWL players, earning his team an additional 4 points (2 from elimination and 2 from placing).
With just 25 points separating 5th from 13th, this season of PCS is one of the closest and most contested in recent memory. With the middle pack at such a high density, even the most seasoned squads are having trouble gaining traction, and that includes OVERPEEKERS and NAVI. Since so many teams are playing for the championship at this point, the final week of the Finals promises to be more dramatic and thrilling than ever.
