After 30 intense battles, Question Mark has emerged victorious in the PCS7 Europe Grand Finals.
Question Mark qualified for PCS7 via the Open Qualifiers and battled his way to first place, where he won the biggest chunk of the $250,000 prize pool and a direct invite to the PUBG Global Championship 2022 in Dubai.
Northern Lights, a perennial PCS favorite, put up a strong showing as well, placing second with 210 points, just 53 points behind Question Mark in first. Incredible performances were turned in by Polish Power and Fella’s, who placed third and fourth, respectively.
During the first weekend, it pays off to take things slowly and steadily.
You couldn’t possibly label Question Mark sluggish, yet their performance through the first 15 matches was powerful and solid. The ambitious team came in second position after the first weekend of the Grand Finals, behind Polish Power by just three points. They had a stellar effort for a squad that barely made it beyond the Playoffs’ Elimination Round.
It was a terrific moment to be a PCS7 Europe Open Qualifier roster that made it through the first weekend of competition. The weekend’s last podium spot went to the Woo, an experienced PUBG Esports group. The fourth-place team was another underdog that needed to win the tournament to advance.
What made the first half of the Grand Finals so interesting was that most teams still had something to play for.
Weekend Two: Establishing a Firm Foundation for Leadership
By the fourth day, everything had altered. Question Mark rocketed ahead, and the other teams never came close to catching up. They played flawlessly, and their initial 25-point advantage ballooned to a final margin of 53.
The third day offered a chance for anybody to challenge Northern Lights and Polish Power for second and third position, even if Question Mark was already well out of reach. Teams like Fella’s and ACEND have a small window of opportunity to qualify for PGC 2022. It was a close race, but in the end ACEND’s 3 Chicken Dinners and Fella’s stunning 127 points weren’t enough to earn second place.
Northern Lights and Polish Power were neck and neck for the most of the closing minutes of the game for second place. After losing to Northern Lights, Polish Power finished in third place, helping Northern Lights move up to second place overall by only three points.
In a symbolic gesture, the PCS7 Europe winners, Question Mark, were awarded the last Chicken Dinner. On top of that, ADOUZ1E won the tournament’s Kill Leader award with 49 kills, and the team was named Insane Squad.
In the following event, the PUBG Continental Championship 2022, the top eight European teams will compete against the best twenty-four teams from the other three regions of the PUBG Esports ecosystem for a slice of the total two million dollar prize pool.

The European delegates will be comprised of Question Mark, Northern Lights Team, Entropiq, FaZe Clan, Polish Power, Natus Vincere, OVERPEEKERS, and BBL Esports.
